We are so pleased to feature our #adorerealbride Taylor on the blog! Last summer, even during the pandemic, her and her now hubby made their wedding day happen! Looking through all their photos, we could just see the fun, love and laughter that was happening this day.
Taylor has a special dress shopping experience, because she found her dress through our AdoreBrideBox program during the middle of COVID! She had social distancing in place, an adorable try-on set-up complete with cute decorations and she found her dream dress at home!
So with no further ado, let's see what Taylor shared with us about her day, while admiring the beautiful photos taken by Anna Longworth.
Do you have a special memory from your wedding day?
It was an incredible day! It poured down rain the morning of, but it cleared a few hours before. My friends and family came to help set everything up really quickly and it was everything I had dreamed of and more. We got to see our friends and family who couldn’t attend (in person due to Covid guidelines) on Zoom and had an incredible evening of dancing with my whole family on the dance floor.

What do you admire most about your spouse?
I love his laugh and his individuality. He’s also always making me laugh and smile!

Tell us more about your wedding.
We originally booked a venue thinking the pandemic would surely die down by September… We ended up cutting our guest list from 250, to 50! Even though we were sad originally about that, it ended up being so perfect foe us to have a small wedding. My mom helped me make the most gorgeous wedding of my dreams hosted in the backyard. The morning of my closest friends came over and got ready with me and mid day I walked to the neighbors house for a first look with Augustine. We had the most magical day! We kept saying weeks after how perfect the day was! One of the cutest moments were our flower girls walking down the aisle and getting a little lost and shy, but they made it! Our officiants made the wedding so personal. They are our close friends who actually helped set us up in the first place.

Please tell us about your experience at Adore Bridal!
Oh my gosh, I don’t know what I would have done! Adore helped me get everything done in the middle of a pandemic!! I loved being able to consult on the phone, and they chose 5 incredible dresses for me. At first I was so sad I wouldn’t get the bridal try on experience I had dreamed of because of the shutdown. However they came up with creative ways to give me such a special experience! I’m so thankful.

We also wanted to show Taylor and Augustine looking at each other as she walks down the aisle....I don't know about you, but this is the moment I always cry at weddings!
