What do you admire most about your husband?
I admire my husbands sense of humor and his abundant love for others.
Tell us more about your wedding. Is there a great proposal story? How did you choose your location? Any DIY tips? What else would you want everyone to know about your wedding?
We had a wonderful wedding, complete with all of our family and friends. We hired a live band – 90’s Daughter out of Champaign- and they were the highlight of the night, weeks later and everyone is still talking about how amazing the band was. Ryan and I even took dance lessons for our first dance together as husband and wife. — We would highly recommend dance lessons even as a fun date night leading up to the wedding, it was nice to have that time for just us and not have the other stresses of the wedding.
As far as decor goes, we had tons of greenery that I ordered online and it was so beautiful and cost effective. All of our centerpieces were different but fit together beautifully. I started collecting centerpieces over a year before our wedding and bought lots of stuff from former brides which saved lots of money! We ended up having cold, rainy, sleety, snowy weather… but the pictures turned out beautifully and I have Schilling Photography to thank for that! The day was all we hoped and dreamed it would be and I wouldn’t have changed a thing.
What was your experience with Adore?
My experience with Adore was great, I found my dress on the very first day! Everyone was super nice and accommodating of our large group. I purchased my veil that day as well. My family cried… I ugly cried… it was great.
Are there any vendors that stood out to you as top notch? Who and Why?
Band – 90’s Daughter The dance floor was PACKED all night and they did awesome bridal party intros! Super easy to work with and the highlight of the night!
Jarod Schilling – So easy to work with and the pictures turned out beautifully.
Patrick Clark – Videographer – Patrick does amazing work and was so fun to be around all day!
