What was the style inspiration for your wedding?
Elegant, Industrial with a little Boho

Do you have a special memory from your wedding day?
My first look with my husband where I turned around and he said "you never wear anything with a low back" and then wrapped his arms around me

What do you admire most about your husband?
His desire to continue to learn new things
Tell us more about your wedding. Is there a great proposal story? How did you choose your location? Any DIY tips?
Nate proposed in Miami and surprised me by inviting our closest friends to be there with us and share in the moment. We are both from the Peoria area and I knew I wanted a venue with an industrial feel to it. My sister did all of my DIY things for me. She has a great rental business called Without a Hitch Event Decor Co. I got some big staple pieces from her like the arch and some furniture and she also personalized some things for me that helped make the space unique to us.
What was your experience with Adore?
I tried on about 8 dresses and was almost in tears because I didn't feel like any of them were my dress and I was afraid I was never going to find one that I liked. Then they brought out my dress and I put it on and immediately knew it was the one, even though it was way too big on me. I was in tears, my couch crew was in tears, it was the perfect moment and I loved the dress even more on my wedding day.

Are there any vendors that stood out to you as top notch? Who and Why?
Le Fleur was great to work with. They went above and beyond to make my vision come to life and the coordinator I used through them made the day go so smoothly. I would not have been as relaxed and calm as I was without her. Ebby L Photography is the best!! She made Nate and I feel so comfortable and I loved that she gave us some sneak peeks a few days after the wedding. There were a lot of people that couldn't make it to the wedding due to COVID and I was so happy I got to share some pictures with them really soon after everything took place.
