There is something truly meaningful when you are able to combine a special event with a place that has significant meaning. And this is just what our #adorereadlbride Francesca was able to do for her big day! Francesca (and her now hubby Connor) were married at her grandfather's old farm in Metamora.

😍 Francesca said that the "location for the wedding was a no brainer for me. I grew up playing all over the farm ground that my grandparents had owned. But my grandparents had no longer owned the property". Luckily, the current owner was happy to host their gorgeous wedding for Francesca! How cool is that! They also do house tours through the Woodford County Historical Society - Illinois. This property is one of the oldest properties in the county! The owners believe this is the first wedding that has ever been performed there! Francesca says, "It is close to my heart and honestly has so much history for Illinois!"

Here's some words of advice for all of those newly engaged couples out there from the blushing bride:
"I did pretty much everything diy! I tried really hard for it to be cost friendly because you don’t need to spend a fortune to have a beautiful wedding. Really it’s about the marriage not the wedding. I think that is something that people need to remember!"
Great advice Francesca!
It certainly was a great day to remember, surrounded by family and friends, even the furry ones!
We are digging' the gray & Burgundy color combo too!
The gorgeous bride wore the dress August in Champagne & Ivory from our Madly in Love collection here at Adore.
❤️ Check out this old photo of the farm, the property has an amazing history!
