What was the style inspiration for your wedding?
Country, rustic, simplistic, galvanized metal, wood
Do you have a special memory from your wedding day?
A special memory I had was feeling so relaxed, the weather was perfect and not a single thing was out of place. I loved standing at the alter and turning to see all of our friends and family who gathered to witness our marriage.
What do you admire most about your husband?
I love his laugh, his BIG arms 💪🏼, and how loving, caring, and selfless he is. He’s my biggest encourager and I’m so lucky to spend the rest of my life with him.
Tell us more about your wedding. Is there a great proposal story? How did you choose your location? Any DIY tips? What else would you want everyone to know about your wedding?
Well we’re young, so I was trying to DIY as much as I possibly could! I created design boards and layouts of all the different options we could have done from the decorations, to the flowers, to the color scheme. I’m telling you that my venue was INCREDIBLY helpful when it came to the included decorations (mason jars, wooden slabs, lace doilies, fairy lights, galvanized watering cans, lanterns, YOU NAME IT!) They had it all and they let me come play with all the different options I could do for place settings. I definitely recommend LeAnn from The Red Barn!
What was your experience with Adore?
Absolutely amazing!!! I was a hot mess with trying to find my dress but Carissa knew exactly the look that I was trying to capture. I tried on other dresses at other places, but I could not get the Adore dress out of my head! I walked in Adore 5 minutes before closing, quickly slipped it on for the second time, and the water works came a flowing. I knew it was the one!
Are there any vendors that stood out to you as top notch? Who and Why?
My photographer was amazing!! She was calm, she knew exactly what she was doing, and we did not feel rushed at all!
