What was your styling inspiration or wedding day vibe you were going for?
We had a micro-wedding, elopement style. Very minimal, with immediate family members right in the middle of nature! So beautiful.
Tell us about a special memory from your wedding day, something that will always stand out in your mind ❤️
Our first look. It was unplanned but I'm so happy we managed to do one because it was an intimate moment between us two before the ceremony with our family there. My husband said he wouldn't cry but he ended up crying when he turned and saw me. I will never forget this very special moment.
What do you admire most about your new spouse?
His determination and dedication to reaching our goals and achieving our dreams!
Is there anything else you want people to know about your love story? A fun proposal, something crazy that happened on your wedding day, a sentimental memory or even wedding planning tips for future brides!
Tip to Other Brides: On your dying day, you won't be wondering if you chose the right flowers, the right color scheme or theme, or even that your third cousin on your mom's side didn't show up.. but you will remember what your wedding day was ultimately about and that is the love that you and your spouse have for one another. Don't let the details get you so worked up and stressed and definitely don't let anyone sway you from having the wedding day you and your spouse want.
What was your experience like with Adore Bridal?
One random day during a visit to my husband's family in Bloomington, IL. My now husband dropped me off to look and try on. Mrs. Ardienne helped me out on this day and we found the most beautiful dress.
She had a motherly presence about her that made me feel so comfortable and blessed to have had her assistance while I was shopping alone! I believe it was a weekday and it wasn't busy. All of the ladies there were down to earth and so sweet. I didn't feel rushed - it was a wonderful experience and I would recommend Adore over and over again!
