Katie and Christian celebrated their forever on July 18th, 2025, in a stunning European-villa–inspired wedding that felt straight out of a romantic getaway. Think timeless architecture, soft neutrals, lush greenery, and that dreamy old-world charm that made every moment feel intimate and effortless. What was your styling inspiration or wedding day vibe you were going for?
Timeless and elegant for style and decor. I wanted a venue that had European villa vibes. I fell in love with the courtyard at Ravisloe for the ceremony with the beautiful ivy and flowers. The indoor reception space was also so pretty with the large arched windows. The architecture of this venue is Spanish and it was just stunning from the moment we got there throughout the entire space.
Tell us about a special memory from your wedding day, something that will always stand out in your mind ❤️
Looking out at all of our guests while standing up at the altar with our bridal party. Seeing how everyone was there for us was incredible. Seeing the vision of the day all come together.
What do you admire most about your new spouse?
His dedication to our relationship and our family.
Is there anything else you want people to know about your love story? A fun proposal, something crazy that happened on your wedding day, a sentimental memory or even wedding planning tips for future brides!
Take it all in and try to slow down the day as much as you can because it’s over before you know it. Make the day whatever you want it to be because it’s your day and you only get to do it once. Don’t worry about other people, worry about yourself and your spouse and it will be perfect!
What was your experience like with Adore Bridal?
Supportive! I remember thinking a lot of the dresses that I tried on were so pretty and I didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings by liking the dress but not loving it. My stylist kept reminding me that it was okay to like a dress and think it’s pretty but it was not my dress. She also kept the one I really like hung up when trying others to compare the 2 which was really helpful in choosing and picking my dress.
