We are SO EXCITED to share Kasey and Yashas wedding day! They had the dreamiest intimate mountain wedding- it looks unreal! Kasey divulged all the details so keep scrolling to read all about it!

Do you have a special memory from your wedding day?
It's too hard to pick just one! Our first look was especially memorable. It was at Picture Lake just as the Sun was coming up, and the scenery was breathtaking. We were essentially the only ones around and got to enjoy the stillness of the water reflecting the mountains, as well as some morning fog over the lake. I was so overcome with emotion seeing Yashas for the first time after we had gotten ready separately that morning. It was a wonderful moment that we got to spend, just the two of us, in that stillness. We also just loved all the time we got to spend with our family before and after the wedding. It was so special, and we knew if we had done a more traditional wedding, we would have missed out on that. Oh! And we did a champagne spray before the toast which was absolutely HILARIOUS because we were covered in champagne and so sticky afterward!

What do you admire most about your spouse?
He is incredibly dedicated in all aspects of his life. I love that he knows me better than I know myself at times!

Is there a great proposal story?
It was a dream! Covid-related visa restrictions prevented us from seeing each other for over a year while Yashas was working in Belgium. Once Europe opened to Americans in the summer of 2021, we were able to meet up in Italy. Yashas proposed on top of the Piazzale Michelangelo in Florence at sunset after a day of pasta making and wine drinking in the Chianti hills!

How did you choose your location?
Yashas and I didn't want to have a traditional wedding because it didn't feel like "us." We decided to do an adventure elopement in Washington State because we wanted to be surrounded by beauty and nature and mountains. Best decision ever!

Please tell us about your experience at Adore Bridal!
I had the best experience at Adore! My stylist instantly made me feel at ease while looking for a dress. She did an incredible job of including my mom, sister, and grandma in the process too. She found several dresses she felt I would like, and ultimately we found the one I loved! It fit our mountain vibe perfectly because it was light and flowy, so it would be easy to move around in. The best part? It had pockets! I canceled my other two appointments at other bridal boutiques immediately after!
