What was your styling inspiration or wedding day vibe you were going for?

Bridgerton/rustic! It was always my dream to have a Victorian wedding ever since I was a little girl! I always loved the princess vibe to it! My husband however wanted a more “redneck” or country wedding so we compromised with rustic haha.

Tell us about a special memory from your wedding day, something that will always stand out in your mind ❤️

The way that my husband was sobbing before I even came out! We also had our favorite worship song “The Blessings” but the instrumental/piano playing for the entire wedding party to walk to besides myself. I walked down to the instrumental version of Edelweis which is the song I have dedicated to my children ❤️

What do you admire most about your new spouse?

How strong his faith is and how caring he is for others, even people he has never met. For example he was in a car accident recently, a deer ran out in front of him and totaled his brand new truck and the first thing he said wasn’t how upset or frustrated he was but instead that he was glad that it was him and not a new driver or a family car and that he is confident the Lord will take care of the rest.

Is there anything else you want people to know about your love story? A fun proposal, something crazy that happened on your wedding day, a sentimental memory or even wedding planning tips for future brides!

Ever since I was a little girl I have always wanted to be a ballerina! I am incredibly uncoordinated so it never worked out…when he proposed to me, it was at our church during the Christmas production in front of the church and he had a BALLERINA bring the ring out to us!

What was your experience like with Adore Bridal?

It was every girl's dream experience when finding their dress! Abby was my stylist and the dress I chose was actually the first one I tried on AND was on of the pictures sent to me initially! I felt so welcomed, understood and listened to! The vibe was so comfortable and fun!
