If you had a wedding day hashtag, what was it? Any fun reason behind it?

What was your styling inspiration or wedding day vibe you were going for?

Rustic boho chic. With the ceremony being outside on the family property, we wanted to really let the beauty of nature shine through and enhance that beauty. We used a lot of dried grass and greenery for decor.

As far as seating, we wanted to accentuate the beauty of the tree we were having the ceremony under so my husband (still so crazy to say that!) constructed benches out of tree stumps and plywood. For the reception decor, we went with a wooden slab in the center of the tables with bud vases of dried grasses and candles surrounded by greenery. We wanted something simple yet elegant, but still described us as a couple!

Tell us about a special memory from your wedding day, something that will always stand out in your mind ❤️

I did a first look with the groomsmen. My brother got emotional and gave me the biggest hug and told me how beautiful I looked and how lucky my husband was ❤️

What do you admire most about your new spouse?

His willingness to go above and beyond for the people he loves and cares about.

Is there anything else you want people to know about your love story? A fun proposal, something crazy that happened on your wedding day, a sentimental memory or even wedding planning tips for future brides!

My dad and I did a fun choreographed dance (his idea!) rather than a traditional slow dance. Any time we’re together now and one of the songs from the mix comes on, we do that part of the dance together. It’s something fun we share and the songs from the mix have a sentimental meaning now.

What was your experience like with Adore Bridal?

I worked with Ashley and she was so amazing! I went in not knowing what I wanted but she listened to me and asked questions to narrow down the search to find my dream dress!
