#adorerealbride | Abby & Drew | Better Together

Our #adorerealbride Abby married the love of her life Drew on July 17, 2021. She shared so much with us about her day, so we are going to get right to it!  We are so excited to share her day! And OH MY GOODNESS, Ivory & Bliss Photography did an amazing job on all these images!

What was the style inspiration for your wedding?
"Boho/Farmhouse"

Did you have a wedding day hashtag?
#wagendowntheaisle

Do you have a special memory from your wedding day?

"Too many to choose!! Reading our personal vows together just him and I (photographer and videographer), the entire ceremony, but also Drew and I got advice from someone else to leave the reception at any time just the two of us and take in a moment of the day somewhere at the venue. It was the best decision we ever made as it was the only 10 minutes that we had just him and I. I will always remember walking out and dancing under the lights of the maple tree just him and I with no one around and taking in the entire day together."

What do you admire most about your spouse?

"Drew has such a great heart for God, his family, and kids. He is the hardest worker I know and always puts others needs before his own. He always supports me in anything I set my mind to and is always there for me. He reminds me daily to pray and that Gods plans are always better than my own."

Tell us more about your wedding. Is there a great proposal story?

"Drew and I got engaged in Steamboat Colorado. We were heading there to go snowboarding in March 2020 with my parents. When we arrived at Colorado, the slopes were shut down 10 mins after we arrived at the condo due to covid. With Drew's plan to propose at the top of the slopes was canceled, my mom and him came up with the last minute plan to go snowmobiling that next day. During that trip, Drew was able to still propose at the top of the mountains at our favorite place!

How did you choose your location?
I chose our location for the wedding because it was 15 minutes from our house and it was stunning.

Any DIY tips? What else would you want everyone to know about your wedding?
I didn't do a lot of DIY as it was important for me to find a venue where a lot of the decor was already included at the venue. Our Wedding was absolutely amazing in so many ways! I loved being able to include our dogs at the wedding and adding personal touches in little ways throughout the day! Some of the little things I did: I created stickers for cookie bags for favors with our dogs on them, I had a table of frames with my students answers on them of things I asked them about dating and weddings, I also put the headband I wore the first night I met Drew around my bouquet, I put pictures on the dads ties with a little message on the inside! Those are things I really remember decor wise that made the day super special!"

Please tell us about your experience at Adore Bridal!

"Adore was amazing and so kind! They texted me dresses ahead of time that I could look at to see if I was interested in trying them on or not so that I was able to utilize the entire appointment time. I loved everything about Madi Lane and Adore was so good at understanding my style and helping me decide on a wedding dress when I am the most indecisive person!! They were very patient and understood all the emotions when making the decision!"

Abby's pictures in her dress and getting ready are just so pretty, we have to share a lot of them! I mean....soooo pretty!
