We can’t think of a better way to wrap up the story of our December #AdoreRealBride than with the sharing of her favorite wedding moments. We are so grateful to Tiara and Austin for sharing their story with us throughout December. Every element of their wedding day was beautiful and reflective of their personalities. Most importantly, they recognized that their wedding day was symbolic of the marriage they were about to begin. If you missed our previous posts featuring Austin and Tiara you can read them here, here and here! You will not want to miss the images from Sharon Guillotte Photography.
There are two questions we like to ask a bride when she comes into the store after the wedding. The first question is, what did everyone say about your dress? We love hearing all of the answers to this question. For us, it’s kind of like a cherry on top. The second question we ask is, what was your favorite part of the wedding day? We want to know what moments her memory will cling to. What she will love to remember. This answer is different for every bride. Just as unique as her dress. Today, we’re sharing a few of Tiara’s favorite wedding moments.
As we know from last week’s post, Tiara loved her cake. One of her best friends (A Bushel and A Peck) and bridesmaids made the cake for Austin and Tiara. Austin is actually the one who found the inspiration picture for the cake. He doesn’t love a ton of icing, so the new naked cakes are perfect for him. To make the cake a perfect combination of Austin and Tiara, the cake was coffee flavored. We love the teamwork they used to arrive at the perfect wedding cake for them. It’s also extra sweet when someone you love gets to bake it for you!
Austin and Tiara had a memory table at their wedding reception. The memory table was there to honor their grandparents that could not be with them on their special day. The Mason Jars on the table held their grandmother’s flowers. Such a special touch, and a wonderful way to honor those who couldn’t be there. Tiara was given her Grandmother’s wedding ring, which she is saving for a special occasion. On her wedding day, she tied the ring into her bouquet to keep her Grandma close.
A girl after our heart, Tiara loved dancing at her wedding! Tiara and her best friends have an awesome taste in music so they made some special requests to the DJ. You could find them in the middle of the dancing floor, getting down to “Sexy Beaches”, “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” and “Sexy Back”. Love it! The reception dance is the best way to wind down the day and let loose.
Austin’s mother is very creative and crafty. She was able to take Tiara’s wedding dreams, and make them into a reality. One of Tiara’s favorite décor elements is the pallet wall that served as the photo booth backdrop. It was made of six pallets and had a monogram in the middle. We love pallet walls, but we especially love them in a space like the Distillery Room. And once again, Tiara was able to have her loved ones help her execute her wedding dreams. Best. Thing. Ever.
It is undeniable, Tiara and Austin’s wedding was picturesque. The venue, THE DRESS, the flowers, the cake and the people – stunning. But if you’ve followed along with Tiara and Austin’s story, you know that their focus was not on things visible to the eye. They were focused on their marriage, and the people who would be supporting them in that endeavor. What an incredible way to approach wedding planning.
We hope that you are inspired by Austin and Tiara in the way that we are. We hope that wedding planning will not be something that stresses you out, but rather gives you an outlet to express your love for one another. Tiara and Austin, thank you for letting Adore Bridal & Specialty be part of your wedding story, and thank you for letting us share it. We look forward to seeing all of the incredible things the two of you experience in years to come.
