    revisiting

Last week we had the pleasure of introducing you to our December Adore Real Bride, Tiara. We know that you all fell in love with Tiara and her husband as quickly as we did because, well, it’s nearly impossible not to! They have a love that has lasted time and distance, and a super sweet proposal story. If you missed Austin and Tiara’s love story we invite you to read it here.

    find your tribe

Having read Austin and Tiara’s love story, I think you’ll find it easy to believe that Tiara’s main focus for their wedding day was the commitment they were making to one another. She didn’t let the small details bog her down because she wanted their wedding to be an expression of who they are as a couple. So when it came time to find her wedding dress, Tiara turned to the people who love her the most – her friends and family! They recommended Adore to Tiara, which warms our hearts! We were delighted to have Tiara bring her tribe into Adore to find her dress!

Just like every other aspect of wedding planning, Tiara wanted the dress finding experience to be relaxing and enjoyable. For many bride’s it’s a completely overwhelming process of prowling through Pinterest, booking several bridal appointments, listening to a million opinions and falling in love in the least expected dress. But not for Tiara. Of course she had a Pinterest board of wedding dresses, but she was still open to wearing anything on her wedding day. She only booked one appointment, and she brought with her the most supportive and loving ladies in her life. Sounds pretty amazing, right?!

    trust the process

Once we had Tiara and her tribe all cozied in, we started talking about her wedding vision, and what she thought she might want in her dress. In just a few moments it was clear that although lace and some sparkle were catching her eye she was completely unsure about dress shape. Dress shapes can be a tricky thing, so we almost always start our brides in each of the four main silhouettes. The first dress Tiara tried on was an a-line and there really wasn’t anything about it she didn’t like. Until, that is, she put on a fitted sheath, which she loved!

We said good-bye to the pretty a-line so that we could have fun with the flowy bottoms and fitted bodices! Everything was amazing on her, but she kept going back to our Gracie gown. And yes, all of gowns have  names – it’s so fun! Finally we knew it was time to put Gracie back on!

    the moment

Now, most of the time brides need to see the complete look to realize they are standing in their wedding dress. The moment Tiara put the gown back on she knew it was the dress she would marry Austin in. Don’t worry, we still added a veil and some jewelry just to see how it looked!

Tiara left Adore that day with a more vivid vision of her wedding day than ever before. We know that vision pales in comparison to the moment Austin saw Tiara on their wedding day.

“…I remember thinking how lucky I was. I hugged him and then he turned around… it’s like time stopped; we didn’t need to say anything…”

We see how beautiful Tiara is in these incredible images from their wedding day, but Austin was truly speechless. Wow! We are so grateful to have “met” Tiara and be part of her bridal story. Our hope is that ever Adore bride has that relaxing and enjoyable time while we work together to find their perfect gown.

austintiawed-austinandtia-047We look forward to sharing more details from Austin and Tiara’s wedding day with you soon. Until then we invite you to check out Sharon Guillotte Photography’s website. Sharon did a wonderful job capturing the love between Austin and Tiara on their wedding day!
