Stacey and Jonathan are the cutest, right? Now that you’d been introduced to our March #AdoreRealBride, it’s time to talk about the dresses. We were honored to style Stacey and her maids! Their look was so classic and elegant.
Stacey came to Adore with a few close friends and family. We started the way we always do, by trying each of the four main dress silhouettes. Stacey was immediately drawn to the a-line style. She was radiant! From there, we started playing with textures and styles; satin, sparkle, shimmer, lace.
There were two gowns that Stacey really loved, but there was a slight problem. She loved the top of one gown, and the bottom of the other. They were the same silhouette, but the fabric on one skirt was softer and more flowy, which Stacey really liked. Bother of these dresses were from the same designer, which meant that we could order the top of one with the bottom of the other!
Once we told Stacey this, we put her in the dress that she loved the top of and we held the skirt of the other dress up against it. She was in love! We are proud to offer customizations, but it can be hard for bride’s to say yes without seeing it first. We are so glad Stacey was able to take this leap, because her dress turned out perfectly. Oh, and we can’t forget to mention…there were pockets!
A few months after Stacey said yes to her dress, she brought her bridesmaids in for a special “after hours” bridesmaid event. We had wine and desserts while we picked out their bridesmaid dresses, and it was so fun! Stacey wanted all of the girls in Bill Levkoff navy, but they were each able to choose their own style. Love it.
There is just nothing we love more than helping YOU design a look for your wedding day. That’s just what we do. Thank you so much, Stacey, for letting us be part of your special day <3
